Hyderabadi  Chicken              Printable Version

Ingredients

  • 1 kg. Chicken

  • 1 inch ginger

  • 1/2 pod garlic

  • 1/2 teaspoon haldi powder

  • 1 oz. golden raisins

  • 10 red chillies

  • 1 oz. cashew

  • 5 cloves

  • 1/2 pound small potatoes

  • 5 cardamom

  • 2" cinnamon

  • 1 sour lime

  • 1 tablespoon ghee

  • 1 cup curd

Method

Roast kesar and pound in sour lime juice.

 Grind all the rest except the kismis.

Slit chicken and marinate for 4 hours.

 Fry lightly chicken masala and kismis.

Add potatoes and kesar.

Thicken.
