Chocolate Ducats

                   Very easy, very tasty

Ingredients

  • 300 grams plain biscuits
  • 80 grams plain chocolate
  • 200 grams castor sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 100 grams butter
  • 2 oz cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon cherry brandy.

Method

Crush the biscuits in a plastic bag, with a rolling pin.

Melt the chocolate.

Beat the butter, sugar and egg until pale and creamy.

Add the chocolate, cocoa, biscuit crumbs, and brandy.

Mix all well together.

Chill for a while and then form into a roll, cover with foil and chill for at least 12 hours.

Cut rounds, and serve with vanilla custard.
