Ingredients

  • 1 kilo maida
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons fresh yeast or 2 tablespoons dry yeast
  • 1 dessertspoon ghee
  • coconut milk
  • salt to taste
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • water

Method

Prove the yeast ie mix together the yeast in a little water and add a pinch of sugar.

Make a well in the flour and pour in the yeast mixture and sprinkle over a little flour.

Cover and leave to rise till bubbly.

 Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well to a thick dropping consistency. C

over and leave to rise, beat down , repeat.

Then fry in hot oil.

Remember that the larger the foogyas, the softer they are
