Vegetables like pumpkin, ash gourd drumstick, yam, snake gourd, lentils, beans or carrots can vbe used.

Ingredients

  • diced vegetables
  • salt
  • haldi
  • 1 red chilli
  • geera
  • green chillies
  • one sprig curry leaves
  • coconut oil
  • curds to taste

Method

Cook the vegetables with salt and 1/2 teaspoon haldi.

Grind together roasted chilli, geera, and green chillies. Add a sprig of curry leaves.

Add to the vegetables and bring to the boil.

Add a tablespoon of coconut oil.

Add curds to taste before serving.

 

You can add tamarind water instead of the curds if you like.
