This is Grand-ma's recipe. A must for every Christmas in 3 Reminess, and now in Singapore too.
Ingredients
- 100 grams carrot
- 2 tomatoes
- 100 grams peas
- 300 grams onions
- pepper powder
- 1 bread
- 1 potato
- ginger garlic paste
- lime
- 4 chillies
- coriander
- pudina
- cinnamon powder
- cashews
- kismis
Method
What I do is fry each ingredient separately and then put them together and simmer for awhile.
Last I add the juice of a lime.
This way, all ingredients including the bread are well soaked in all the masalas.
But--- the bread does not remain crisp.
That's the way we like it, but, you can add the fried bread cubes just before stuffing.
