Ingredients 3 Potatoes 3 onions 3 tablespoons oil for seasoning (preferably coconut oil) a pinch of mustard seeds 1 teaspoon mustard seeds 1 teaspoon coriander seeds 1 marble sized lump of tamarind 12-15 Roasted red Byadgi Chillies or 1/2 Byadgi and 1/2 ordinary chillies both roasted

Method Cook potato, peel and cut into cubes. Cut onions also the same size. Grind together roasted chillies, tamarind and coriander seeds . Prepare seasoning with oil, mustard seeds and when the seeds pop, add onions and fry till light brown. Then add potato, masala, salt and masala water, cover and cook till done.
