Red Potato
This one is from Shagufta, - Bori recipe, works well if you have access to Kashmiri Chillies.
Ingredients
kashmiri chillies
garlic
geera
potatoes
haldi
dhania powder
geera powder
tamarind juice
coriander leaves
Method
Grind together red chillies with garlic and geera.
Boil potatoes with salt and haldi.
Dice. Fry the masala well, add dhania and geera powder, salt and haldi and fry till the oil comes up.
Add potatoes.
Add a little tamarind juice.
Sprinkle with coriander.
I usually add a tablespoon of ketchup and sour lime juice too. Mellows the flavour.
