Ingredients
5 tomatoes
5 potatoes
5 capsicum
1 cup peas
1 small cauliflower
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon haldi
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon geera powder
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
salt
butter
coriander to garnish
lemon wedges
bread
Method
Boil and mash potatoes.
Blend the tomatoes into puree.
Fry the capsicum pieces in a little butter along with the pieces of cauliflower till they are very soft.
Mash lightly.
Boil peas in salt and mash.
Now heat the butter, and on a low fire, add all the masalas and lightly fry till you get an aroma.
Add the tomato paste till the oil surfaces.
Add the mashed peas, cauliflower.
Fry well.
Lastly add the mashed potatoes, again fry well until the oil comes up.
Top with a slice of butter, coriander and lemon. Serve with bread roasted on a hot griddle with a little butter till golden brown.
