Ingredients
- 1 measure Bengal gram dhal
- 2 measures dalia or thick rava
- 3 measures sugar
- coconut grating
- elaichi powder
Method
Cook Bengal gram dhal.
Add dalia and cook again.
There should be no water remaining after cooking the dhalia.
Add sugar and cook till it is dissolved and well mixed.
Remove from flame add coconut gratings and cardamom powder.
Khichidi is eaten with ghee.
