This is a Jungle Cake I made for a little friend yesterday. She came over to my house last week and said, "Aunty Karen, I want to discuss my cake." She knew exactly which animals she wanted, and that she wanted herself and her brother on the cake.
All figures are fondant with a little tylose added. Eyes, stripes on bees and spots on ladybirds are royal icing. The cake is Devil's food, fudge icing, and buttercream. The river is fondant.
