This turned out to be a project that I really enjoyed doing and I am really proud of the outcome. My cousin, just celebrated 25 years as a religious sister, and this icon represents the charism of her Order. It's painted on a fondant plaque, with tylose added to the fondant. I made it removable so that we wouldn't have to cut through it while serving the cake. It took me almost 5 hours to paint it.
