This is one of the not so common sweets. It was always a surprise to find one of these in somebody's Plate of Christmas sweets!!! Old fashioned sweet with old fashioned quantities.
Ingredients
- 1 seer soji/semolina ( a little less than a litre measure)
- whites of 12 eggs
- 3 tiprees sugar (approx 3/4 lb/tipree so 2 1/4 lb ie almost 1 kilo)
- 400 grams cashew ground fine
Method
Beat egg whites to frosty white.
Mix in the soji/semolina.
Lastly add the cashews.
Next day add 1 wine glass of rose water and bake.
