Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Ashgourd
  • sugar
  • ghee
  • cardamom powder

Method

Remove rind if any.

Grate Ashgourd,.

 Squeeze and measure.

When squeezing, whatever water is left, keep aside.

Measure equal sugar.

 Mix the Ashgourd and its water and cook on the gas.

 When well-cooked, add the sugar and keep stirring.

 Add a tablespoon of ghee at a time 3-4 times till done.

Put cardamom powder and spread on a greased plate.

Cut into squares.
