Ingredients
- 1 cup chole white- soak overnight and drain
- 3 big onions finely chopped
- ginger garlic and chilli paste
- 4 chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon chopped coriander
- salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 1/2 glass water
- tamarind juice
- lime
- chopped coriander
- chopped onions
Method
Fry onions till deep brown.
Add ginger garlic and chilli paste and the chopped tomatoes and fry well till the oil comes out.
Add soaked chole and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring once in a way.
Add salt.
Add powders and fry on a low fire for 10 minutes.
Add 1 1/2 glass water and cook under pressure for about 10 mins.
Remove, add tamarind water.
Garnish with lime chopped coriander chopped onions.
Serve with sev, and if you want it to taste authentic, serve with bread!!!
