Ingredients

  • 1 pav urad dhal
  • 5 green chillies
  • 1 " piece of ginger
  • 8-10 sprigs curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour or fine soji
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

Method

Soak urad dhal for 2 hours

Wash and remove water.

Grind to a smooth paste with minimum water.( So that they absorb less oil)

 Remove the dhal, add salt, finely cut chillies, ginger, curry leaves and rice flour.

Make balls and fry in oil till they are brown in colour ( Eat with coconut chutney and sambhar)
