* 1 pav rava
* 4 green chillies
* 4 tablespoons oil
* 1 medium onion
* Pinch of mustard seeds
* curry leaves
* salt
* pinch of turmeric powder
* juice of lime to taste
* finely cut coriander leaves
Method
Heat the oil and add the mustard seeds.
When the mustard seeds pop, add finely cut onion and split green
chillies.
When the onions become transparent, add rava, salt, turmeric
powder and roast for 3-4 minutes.
Then add boiling water; (double the amount of the rava,
sometimes a little more).
Bring to a boil and simmer till the rava is cooked.
Add lime juice and garnish with coriander leaves
 

Ingredients
* 1 measure urad dhal
* 3 measures maida
* salt
Method
Soak urad dhal for 2 hours.
Grind finely to a paste, adding water.
Add salt, and keep overnight.
Next morning, mix in the maida, beat well and make dosas.
Note: Maida can be mixed in water the previous night. Next
morning remove the extra water and add maida to the ground urad
dhal. The batter should ferment well.

Some people prefer non-fermented dosa also in which case you have to grind urad dhal
, mix maida and prepare the dosa immediately.
