Ingredients
* 1 measure dhosai rice
* less than 1/2 a coconut
* 2 fistfuls thin pohe
* jaggery to taste
* salt
Method
Soak rice for 3 to 4 hours.
Grind rice with coconut to a fine paste with water.
Add the soaked pohe, salt and the jaggery.
Grind again, and the mixture will become thick.
(Consistency should be little thicker than dosa)
Heat the pan on a high fire, pour in a little ghee, add about a
tablespoon of batter then cover and simmer until cooked.
(If they do not become spongy, you can add a pinch of soda)
It is better to keep the sweet appo rice batter for 2-3 hours
